About Us
Our Story
12 years of rehabilitation of horses of all species in the Dominican Republic.
Why Singing Horse Foundation?
Because Angela is a professional opera singer and Manuel is a choir director. Together they created the Municipal Choir of Sosua and the Youth Choir of Casa de Arte de Sosua. These two choirs are still active and have about 25 members each. They have given numerous concerts throughout
the Dominican Republic.
Objectives of the foundation
- Today the foundation has 15 rescued horses in its care. The first goal of the foundation is to continue to provide for the needs of these 15 horses and to find them a safe placement with new owners.
- To welcome new horses in distress.
- To bring its help and experience to people of good will outside the ranch to care for and rehabilitate abused horses.
- To be present with the owners (Dominican and foreign) of horses and to give them support and knowledge.
- Forge partnerships with local authorities to stop accidents caused by unattended horses on the roads. To ensure that these horses are taken care of and that their owners take responsibility.

A team of three grooms trained by Angela in her non-violent methods, which are not well known in the Dominican Republic.
A valuable field experience due to 12 years of rehabilitation of horses of all species in the Dominican Republic.
